Our Story

About Us

We believe every child deserves the chance to dream — and the support to pursue those dreams.

Founded by Rick and Glenys Hull, Sharing Our Blessing supports programs that address hunger, homelessness, and meaningful childhood development experiences. Our work focuses not just on meeting basic needs, but on opening doors to opportunity and helping families envision a future filled with possibility.

As a couple, we recognize that we have been blessed beyond any of our hopes and expectations. We realize that these blessings are a gift from God that we are able and compelled to share with others. We came into this world with nothing and everything we have is a gift and on loan from God to provide help for others and opportunities to find their blessings and personal success.

Why We Do This

For many families experiencing poverty, daily life is focused on survival. That leaves little room for dreaming, planning, or imagining a different future.

Rick’s own story began with mentors who believed in him — teachers and community members who encouraged him to aim higher and see what was possible. Their support changed the direction of his life.

Now, Rick and Glenys Hull hope to offer that same belief to others.

Our Blessings are a gift from God, and we are compelled to share those with others.

Communities We Invest In

Our work focuses on communities meaningful to the Hull family:

  • Escanaba, Michigan

  • Sioux Falls, South Dakota

  • Fort Myers, Florida

We aim to collaborate with already-established organizations in these regions — strengthening the work they’re already doing and helping families more deeply.

How We Partner
